Chirnside Park Cricket Club is saddened to share the news of John Malbon's passing early Sunday morning.

A loving father to CPCC life member and secretary, Brad Malbon, many will remember John from Brad's time in the juniors, as he supported the team from the sidelines, often being the official team scorer of Brad's matches too.
Over the past decade or so, John took to watching on from the comforts of his car, occasionally strolling into the clubrooms to proudly celebrate his son's wickets or red ink scores.

The club extends their condolences to beloved wife Janne, children Shelley, Megan and Brad, and grandchildren Freya and Evan.

A celebration of John's life will be held at Le Pine Funerals in Lilydale this Friday, 5th June at 2:00pm. A live stream link will also be available.
