Our Under 12-3s wrapped up their Grand Final Friday evening and although the odds were against us, we pushed it to the limit. When the game was all but lost, Jackson snagged three wickets for two runs in the 32nd over and gave us hope again. But we were unable to take that final wicket and Ranges passed us with a couple overs to spare. Be proud kids. Runners Up for a fantastic season is a great result, and can only make us want to go one better next year!

The Under 14-5s had an absolute blast, batting first and setting a solid chase. Isha, Connor, Xavier, Pavan, and Daniel all reaching their ball limits, an Abe having a ripper day. Heathwood/Boronia started hard and fast, and it looked like we'd be runners up too, but from the 12th over we switched on, and we were taking a wicket every two overs and the game was all on our terms again, with Abe knocking over their final bats. The flag is ours. The celebrations were next level. Congratulations Under 14s, what a magnificent season.

The Under 16-3s were sent for a long day in the field, but averaged a wicket every seven overs and capped the Redbacks at under 4.5 runs per over. A score we know we can chase, especially when the premiership is at the end of it. Pick of the bowlers were Dev with 3, Riggsy & Slinn 2 each, and Deepan & Shortty too.
