It was a perfect day for finals cricket and the boys were excited to be here.

We didn’t get the start we were hoping for but got back in the game with Sachin and Aryan both making their season high best and helping get the team to a reasonable innings score.

The bowling was not the season’s best, and we only managed to get two wickets, and had a big gap between them. Clayton had some very good bats and pushed their innings along smoothly, passing us down with 3 overs to spare.

This marks the end of the U14s season, but it was their best winter season yet. Going from strength to strength every year, we can only aim to go better again next year. Well done Panthers, you all played every game in the right spirit and made some great friends and memories along the way. See you next season.
