The Chirnside Park Cricket Club is deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our beloved life member, Bill Gibson, on Wednesday evening at Eastern Health Wantirna.

Billy was an integral part of a local few who helped form the club 40 years ago and has been a continual source of equal parts knowledge and humour in the Chirnside Park sporting community ever since.

Bill’s presence will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of either working alongside, been coached by, or been bailed up for a chat at the club.

Our deepest condolences go to sons, Matthew and Chris, daughter Catherine, brothers Brian, Alan and Les, and all Bill’s extended loved ones and colleagues in this very difficult time.
