In what would have been the perfect underdog story, the kids going up against the experienced behemoth. Unfortunately that was not the case and Seville proved too strong.

There were many times we showed we could but a flat spot let the game play out of our hands and we struggled to recover. Great efforts from the captain with 4fa, Sugar clocking 20, and Reubs claiming 3 but also sticking around to get 10 on. We needed a lot more of these on the day though.

To our players – you showed plenty of spirit and desire, stick with it and the experience of this grand final will make you play better over the years to come and also make you want that flag even more.

To Seville – congratulations, it was not our day. The ground looked incredible, the people were wonderful and the day was well run.

To our Panther family – you were there for your grand finalists and showed again we are a strong supportive club. Thanks for coming along and sharing the journey.
